Well Hello, 2026!

Looking Back Before Moving Forward

Last year wasn’t about pushing forward at full speed. It was about slowly finding my way back to the things that genuinely give me joy. I started exploring again what excites me creatively, and instead of moving on too quickly, I tried to stay with it and go a little deeper.

I began reading more. Taking in ideas, stories, and perspectives instead of constantly producing. Much of this happened quietly, unseen from the outside. Behind the scenes, I was busy waking my mind back up, reconnecting with the creativity I love so much. It wasn’t about showing work, but about rebuilding the mental space where creativity can exist.

January as a Starting Point

January feels like the moment where all the things I tasted last year get the chance to grow. This year is about developing those ideas further. That will come with trial and error, with moments of doubt and adjustment, but that’s part of it. What matters is that my enjoyment in creating is back, and that feels like the most important foundation to start from.

Projects Taking Shape in 2026

I have several projects in mind that I want to start shaping this year. Work that I care deeply about, and that I hope will resonate with others as well. One of these projects involves my 3D prints for Chapters Unbound. I will most likely offer these prints for sale, alongside individual standalone prints.

Photography will also become a more active part of my practice again. A number of my photographic series will be made available, and there are drawings that haven’t been shown before that will also find their way out into the world. All of this work will be released in limited editions, numbered and certified by me. I want each piece to be treated with care and intention.

Leaving Room for the Unexpected

There is much more planned for this year, but not everything needs to be shared right away. Some things are better left to unfold naturally. Let yourself be surprised by 2026. I know I am curious to see what this year will bring, and I’m fully committed to making the most of it.

Best wishes to all of you. I wish you nothing but good things for the year ahead.
